Essex Performance Advisory Group
The Essex PAG is an advisory organization that may be commissioned by Primary Care Trusts in Essex when there are concerns about a clinician that the normal clinical governance processes cannot manage. Our activity is aimed, primarily, at advising PCTs on how to support and rehabilitate clinicians with problems. The PAG may, after appropriate assessment, also advise PCTs on further appropriate actions where support and rehabilitation are not sufficient to ensure patient protection. The PAG has no authority to act autonomously.
